The COVID-19 epedemic has created unexpected challenges for many companies. How do you meet the guidelines and measures prescribed by the government in your warehouse? While some office employees can work from home, this is not an option for employees working in warehouses or distribution centers.
Minimizing activities where people are required to work beside one another has become essential. Packing tables can be pushed apart, breaks can be spread and hours shifted, but unloading containers remains a major challenge. Can you keep enough distance from each other in the tight, closed space of a sea container? This rightly creates uncertainty among staff who wonder whether their work is still safe.
Automatic unloading and palletizing goods with the Copal C2 container unloader together with the BOUPAL palletizing system provides a complete ‘hands-off’ container unloading solution. The boxes are automatically removed from the container layer by layer and gently placed on a telescopic conveyor. Then, the robot arm takes the boxes and put them on a pallet. The automatic container unloader is the solution to cope with the challenges of today and in the future.
