Copal C2
Loose stacked boxes and bags are unloaded from containers at high speed, by the Copal C2. The products are placed onto a conveyor belt which feeds the product to a telescopic conveyor belt.
The system can be connected directly to existing logistic systems.
The Copal C2 depends on the dimensions of the boxes.
Operation
The C2 is driven into the container from the docking station. The conveyor belt follows automatically correcting for height differences. The advanced lifting technology ensures that up to 100 kg lifting power is available each time.
Safety
The machine is fitted with various laser sensors for the correction of human errors. Cameras enable the entire process to be seen at a glance. The system is fitted standard with transverse transmission so that it can be driven from dock to dock.
Automation
Special software has been developed for the C2 Container unloader. Repetitive operations have been extensively automated. The system corrects height differences between the container and forwarding floor, by lifting the frame of the C2 system. The machine continually measures distances in the available space, preventing damage. The operator can control the system with two joysticks while seated in his comfortable seat. He can monitor the whole process on a screen.
Applications
The Copal C2 can be used in every logistic centre where standard and high cube containers (20, 40 or 45 ft) are unloaded. The machine can be directly connected to the internal logistics system. For instance at cold stores, warehouses and distribution centres. Manual sorting and palletizing is of course also possible.
The machine saves time and reduces physical effort to zero.
Grippers
The C2 can be fitted with various grippers like the Pullplate or the Spidergripper, which can pick up different types of goods, placing them with a smooth motion on the conveyor belt.
