Copal originates from the ambition to improve working conditions in a specific part of the logistics chain. Our founders noted that sea containers are still often unloaded manually - even in Europe - and that Medieval conditions still occur. This situation was the starting point for the development of our machine.
Mr. Wim Bosman, former owner / CEO of the Wim Bosman Group, a globally operating logistics service provider, saw the prototype of the Copal system in 2011. He believed in the product and invested in the project, also to contribute to innovation in logistics. Mr. Bosman has laid a very important and indispensable financial basis for the development of the company Copal and the systems. He passed away in November 2017 at the age of 76.
Our employees are creative, curious, inquisitive, determined and inventive. All the characteristics of the inventor. This led to a unique corporate culture with a natural service orientation.
With a lot of perseverance, the setbacks have been overcome where many startups are stranded and we are now proud to offer proven technology.
Today, well-known multinationals worldwide use our systems for fully automated unloading and palletizing. Proof that our machines guarantee an efficient and continuous inbound process, whereby flexibility and permanent availability are also seen as important advantages.
